Ultrasound Waves: A handheld device emits low-frequency ultrasound waves that penetrate the skin's surface and reach the underlying fat tissue.
Cavitation Effect: When the ultrasound waves encounter fat cells, they create microscopic bubbles within the fat cell membranes. This process is called cavitation.
Cellular Disruption: The rapid expansion and contraction of these bubbles put pressure on the fat cell membranes, causing them to break apart. This releases the fat content into the surrounding tissue.
Metabolism and Elimination: The released fat is then metabolised by the body and eliminated through the lymphatic system and natural bodily processes.
Fat cavitation is often used to target areas such as the abdomen, thighs, hips, and arms where stubborn fat deposits can be challenging to eliminate through diet and exercise alone. It's important to note that fat cavitation is not a weight loss solution but rather a body contouring treatment aimed at reducing the appearance of localised fat and improving body shape.
It's typically recommended as a series of treatments to achieve optimal results, and individuals may experience visible improvements in body contouring and skin tightening over time!
Cavitation and RF treatments are typically painless . While mild redness may occasionally occur, it's highly unlikely to cause any discomfort. Additionally, clients may hear a gentle crackling sound during the fat cavitation session. Skin tightening however can feel relaxing, similar to a hot stone massage. But there's no associated pain during both treatments
Ultrasound Cavitation is a safe, non-surgical treatment. Making it a non-invasive with no downtime. Tailored ultrasound energy levels ensure targeted damage solely to fat cells while leaving other organs unaffected. There are no reported side effects associated with these treatments. Nonetheless, it's advised to stay hydrated. Any short-term effects that may arise will quickly dissipate.
When considering treatments for pregnant women, safety is paramount. Generally, non-invasive body tightening treatments, such as those using radiofrequency technologies, are considered safe during pregnancy. These treatments target areas like the abdomen, thighs, or buttocks and are designed to improve skin elasticity and firmness.
However, it's crucial for pregnant women to consult with their healthcare provider before undergoing any cosmetic procedure, including body tightening treatments. Every pregnancy is unique, and medical professionals can provide personalised guidance based on the woman's health, the stage of pregnancy, and any specific concerns or conditions she may have.
RF : It's generally recommended to wait at least 5 days between each radiofrequency treatment session. To achieve the desired results, which typically include improvements in skin tightness, firmness, and texture, multiple treatment sessions are often necessary. On average, it may take between 6 to 10 radiofrequency sessions to see your desired results
FAT CAV: You should wait 72 hours between sessions for your body to eliminate toxins. Generally, you'll need 6 to 10 treatments for the optimal results.
Pre-Treatment:
Drink at least one liter of water before your treatment to help your body respond effectively.
Post-Treatment (within 72 hours):
- Ensure at least 20 minutes of exercise to keep your heart rate up.
- Focus on eating whole foods and avoid processed foods.
- Stay hydrated, drink 2-3 of water over 24 hours. For the next 3 days post treatment.
- Consider dry body brushing and using a moisturiser.
- Additional steps can be taken to achieve optimal results. An infrared sauna & a lymphatic drainage massage. These will help eliminate released toxins from the body.
